SteadyPicks Two Best Bets For Saturday's NFL Week 15 Slate
Steelers @ Colts 4:30pm
Steelers Moneyline (+110)
Our wager is on the road underdogs to win this game outright. The Steelers are at a low in the market right now after losing two consecutive games to the Patriots and Cardinals. Their offense has looked horrible regardless of which QB is in. On the other side of this matchup, the Colts are 4-1 in their last 5 games. However, they lost by 20 to the Bengals last week. The Colts offense took a big hit losing their star RB Jonathan Taylor. Indianapolis will also be without a starting tackle. Our concern with the Colts in this matchup is how Gardner Minshew will perform against the Steelers pass rush. Minshew has a passer rating in the 90’s with a clean pocket, but that passer rating drops to the low 60’s when pressured. Almost 5% of Minshew’s plays this season have been graded as turnover worthy, which is extremely high. If you can find some props for Minshew turnovers, that looks to be a favorable betting spot. As bad as the Steelers offense has looked in recent weeks, they had some extra time to prepare for this game which should help. Pittsburgh has a lot of weapons on offense between George Pickens, Dionte Johnson, Pat Freirmouth, Najee Harris, and Jaylen Warren. While we may not love the Steelers QB situation, the pieces are all there to have success. Mitch Trubisky is a veteran QB with a lot of starting experience. Our wager is a half unit on the better defense to come out with the win. The Steelers on the moneyline is our wager.

Bengals vs. Vikings 1:00pm
Under 40.5 Total Points (-110)
We are going with the under in this matchup between the Bengals and Vikings. This will be an interesting test today for Bengals backup QB Jake Browning. He will take on a very aggressive Vikings defensive coordinator in Brian Flores. One thing to know about Flores is that he loves to blitz and bring pressure. So far, Bengals QB Jake Browning has performed well with a 88.9 passer rating under pressure. The VIkings pressure will be much different than the last two defenses Browning has faced (Colts & Jaguars). This Vikings defense ranks top 6 in the NFL in the DVOA metrics. Our friends over at Sporting Intelligence have this Vikings defense ranked 2nd in their defensive efficiency metrics. As good as the Vikings defense has been, their offense has scored just 13 points in their last 2 games. The Bengals defense isn’t great, but they should be able to limit the scoring of a struggling Vikings offense. We like this game to go under 40.5 points. Our stake is a half unit.
