Jacksonville State is one of the least impacted teams in the nation by the transfer portal. Only their place kicker entered the portal. Louisiana was not majorly impacted by the portal either, but they did have their best LB enter. In terms of motivation Louisiana has played in this New Orleans Bowl 7 times over the last 12 seasons. This is Jacksonville State’s first Bowl Game in program history. Jacksonville State head coach Rich Rodriguez has this defense playing extremely well. Louisiana is on QB #3 this season with redshirt junior Chandler Fields. We prefer to back the playmaking ability of Jacksonville State QB Zion Webb, and the strong rushing attack of Jacksonville State. We will lay the -2.5 points. Our stake is a half unit.
