Monday Night Football Prediction 10/31/2022
Bengals @ Browns 8:15pm
Bengals -3 (-115)
Let's start with the injuries. The Bengals will be without their star WR Ja'Marr Chase. The Browns on the other hand are missing several key players tonight. Starting cornerback Denzel Ward is out, starting tight end David Njoku is out, two starting offensive lineman are out, and 2 additional corners are questionable. The key matchups to look out for in this game are the Browns defending the pass, and the Bengals defending the run. The Browns are bottom 15 in the NFL in pass coverage. Potentially playing without 3 starting corners won't help matters for the Browns against an elite Bengals passing attack. The Browns have an elite pass rusher in Myles Garret, but as a whole their defense ranks middle of the pack in getting after the QB. The Bengals weakness on their defense is against the run. This is a bit of a concern against Nick Chubb and this elite rushing attack. If Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense can have success early, the Browns may be limited with their run first gameplan. Our bet is a half unit on the Bengals to win this game by north of a field goal.
