Twins vs. White Sox 7:40pm
Twins Moneyline (-140)
We are backing Twins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez in this matchup. Some may remember Lopez from the Marlins last season. He was part of the 1-2 punch with Sandy Alcantara. Lopez was traded to the Twins in the offseason, and he’s been fantastic in his first two starts. Through 12.1 innings, Lopez has allowed just 5 hits and 1 earned run. His strikeout rate per 9 is also way up (11.7). The Twins look to have landed a valuable piece in their starting rotation. White Sox starter Lance Lynn got rocked in his last start! He allowed 8 earned runs on 9 hits in 4.1 innings. Lynn has been walking a lot of batters, and his home rate per 9 innings is alarmingly high (3.6). It’s very early in the season, so take these numbers with a grain of salt. The White Sox bullpen has been the worst in the MLB, while the Twins bullpen has been one of the best. Twins moneyline is our bet.
