Oregon vs. Washington 8:00pm
Under 66 Total Points (-110)
While we all expect fireworks from these offenses tonight, these defenses seem to be flying a bit under the radar. Oregon head coach Dan Lanning was the defensive coordinator at Georgia prior to joining the Ducks. He’s a defensive minded coach. We expect Lanning to make adjustments from the first game they played against Washington earlier this season, and to have a strong defensive gameplan. Washington’s offense has slowed down in recent weeks, failing to score over 25 points in either of their last 2 games. Both of these defenses are strong in pass coverage. Washington’s defense has been a mixed bag of results against the run, whereas Oregon’s defense has been stout against the run. There is much on the line in this game beyond the PAC-12 Championship implications. The winner will likely secure one of the 4 spots in the College Football Playoffs, while the loser will likely be looking in from the outside. Washington has a pass heavy offense. However, it wouldn’t surprise us if they look to slow the tempo of this game down knowing that their defense will have their hands full with Bo Nix, and the countless Oregon offensive weapons. Our wager is on less than 66 total points to be scored.
