Siena vs. Iona 7:00pm
Siena +7 (-110)
Iona is laying too many points here for us to pass up. Rick Pitino’s team has a solid record at 13-6, however, there is not one notable win on Iona’s resume. Their biggest test was against New Mexico, where they lost by 8. Throughout the month of January, Iona has lost to Quinnipiac, Rider, and just went to overtime with a pretty bad Manhattan team that ranks outside the top 300 in the nation. This is the second straight road game for Iona, and they are just 2-3 straight up in true road games this season. Siena has only lost two home games all season, and they are currently 7-2 in conference play. The winner of this game will be in first place in the MAAC standings. Siena shoots the 3 ball very efficiently, and they are a fantastic free throw shooting team. It is worth noting, one of Siena’s best players (Javian McCollum) is questionable, but there have been no reports that he’s been ruled out. Whether or not he plays, we feel comfortable getting 7 points with the home team. Our stake is a half unit.
