Rockies vs. Cardinals 8:40pm
Rockies +1.5 (+102)
Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas didn’t allow a single earned run in his 12 innings pitched during spring training. He looked to be carrying good momentum into the season. That being said, Mikolas first two starts have been the complete opposite of spring training. He’s been rocked in both starts, which were both at home in St. Louis. Mikolas has given up 19 hits and 10 earned runs in just 9.1 innings. It's worth noting, Miles Mikolas was great at home last season (2.38 ERA). He was not good on the road (6-10 with a 4.10 ERA). To make matters worse, in his only start at Coors Field last season, Mikolas allowed 14 hits and 10 earned runs in just 2.2 innings! Rockies starter Kyle Freeland has been lights out to start the season. Freeland is 2-0 and has not allowed an earned run. He's only given up 7 hits in 12.2 innings. We will take this generous price on the Rockies run line.
