One MLB Postseason Bet To Consider On Friday October 14th 2022
Padres vs. Dodgers 8:37pm
Padres Moneyline (+108)
We are going to side with the home dogs in this NLDS game 3 matchup. We have some concerns about the health and form of Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin. He has only pitched 2 innings since August 23rd. Tony Gonsolin performed like an ace for the Dodgers all season, but he didn't look like the sharpest version of himself his last time out. The Rockies recorded 3 hits, and scored 1 run in his 2 innings pitched. It would be hard to imagine Tony Gonsolin pitching more than 4-5 innings in this game, so we expect to see the Dodgers bullpen early. On the Padres side, their starter Blake Snell had a dreadful start to this season. Snell didn't pitch until mid May, and the Padres lost his first 8 starts. However, since July, Blake Snell has been fantastic. In his last 6 starts, Snell has a 2.06 ERA, which includes a one hit shutout win in 5 innings against the Dodgers. The Padres have a great opportunity to put the Dodgers in a vulnerable spot tonight with a win. Our bet is one unit on the dogs!
