There has been odd line movement in this game. This spread opened UCF -12, and this line has steamed all the way to 16. Maybe there is sharp action, or a lot of public money coming in on UCF to cause the move. We don’t see any injury news or anything of that nature that would move this number. Maine is a good defensive team, and they play at a very slow tempo on offense. They have a lot of upperclassmen and several returning players from last season. UCF is a very good defensive team (28th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency). However, UCF’s offense ranks outside of the top 150 in offensive efficiency. If Maine can slow the tempo down, 16 points should be a nice cushion with this group. Our stake is a half unit.
