This bet is a fade on Red Sox starting pitcher Josh Winckowski, and a poor Red Sox bullpen. Josh Winckowski made his MLB debut in late May, and he actually pitched relatively well through June. However, in July and throughout August, Winckowski began to struggle mightily. He was sent down to Triple A, but was called back up to the majors after Nathan Eovaldi went on the IL. Blue Jays starter Ross Stripling has faced the Red Sox 3 times this season, and he pitched well in all of them. The Blue Jays are 10-3 against the Red Sox this season.
