NFL Best Bets For The Divisional Round (1/22/22)
Titans vs. Bengals 4:25pm
For those who like stats, here is an interesting one. Titans coach Mike Vrabel is 8-0 straight up and against the spread when he is given additional days of preparation (8 or more days). Another key note in this game is that the Bengals will be without Larry Ogunjobi. When Ogunjobi is not on the field, the Bengals defensive pressure rate drops nearly 10%. This is a big loss, and our numbers suggest the Titans are a much stronger team in the trenches. Add in that the Titans are at home (6-3 ATS), getting Derrick Henry back, and had the additional rest. This one is all Titans for us. We will opt to bet the moneyline rather than the spread, so the Titans will simply need to win this game to cash the ticket. (-180 via DraftKings)
Packers vs. 49ers 8:15pm
When the Packers have faced elite run offenses this season, they have been in a lot of close games. The following teams either kept the score within +5.5 points, or beat the Packers outright. Browns, Ravens, Vikings, Chiefs, Cardinals, Bengals, 49ers, Saints. We will exclude the Lions (who also fall into that list) since many of the Packers starters didn't play in majority of that game. Against the 49ers in week 3, the Packers were a 3 point dog, and won the game by two points. That being said, you have to ask yourself if a 8.5 point line adjustment from that first matchup is justified. Aaron Rodgers is 0-3 against the 49ers in the postseason. We are going to take the points with the dog here. (+5.5 via BetMGM)
