Astros ML (-150) vs. Angels 8:10pm
This play is all about fading (betting against) Angels starting pitcher Patrick Sandoval. His ERA against the Astros last season was north of a 10. On the flip side for the Astros, Framber Valdez was 2-0 against the Angels in 2021. We like the pitching edge here. Our bet is on the Astros moneyline for one unit.
Mariners ML (-133) vs. Rangers 9:40pm
Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray is someone we are looking to bet against in the early season. Jon Gray is coming off of the IL, so this game will likely be turned over to a TERRIBLE Rangers bullpen relatively early in the game. We will back last years AL Cy Young winner Robbie Ray, and a much better Mariners bullpen.
Blue Jays ML (+120) @ Red Sox 7:10pm
This price seems a bit off. Both of these starting pitchers (Kikuchi & Eovaldi) have not looked good early in the season. However, the Blue Jays bullpen is rested, and the Blue Jays offense is potent. We will side with the underdog here for a half unit on the moneyline.
