LSU vs. Tennessee 4:00pm
LSU +11.5 (-110)
We are going to buy low on an LSU team that our data suggests is much better than how they’ve been playing. This team has lost 5 straight games, and now runs into one of the toughest teams in the country in Tennessee. To make matters worse for LSU, it’s been their offense that has really been struggling, and Tennessee has the #1 adjusted defensive efficiency rating in the nation. However, as good as Tennessee’s defense is, their offense has some question marks. We saw Tennessee struggle offensively last week against Kentucky, resulting in an outright loss at home as a large betting favorite. LSU has one of the better home court advantages in the nation (valued at roughly 4 points). While we expect Tennessee to win this game, LSU should be able to keep it within single digits.
