Heat vs. Celtics 8:30pm
(Game 6 Heat Lead Series 3-2)
Heat +3 (-108)
We have a huge game 6 on the menu in South Beach tonight. Despite dropping the last two games, the Heat still lead the series 3-2. Miami has the opportunity to advance to the Finals with their home crowd behind them. If the Heat are unable to end the series tonight, they will be at risk of being the 1st team in NBA history to blow a 3-0 series lead. Out of 150 teams in history who have fallen down 0-3 in a series, there have only been 3 teams that were able to force a game 7. This game 6 spot is where the series comebacks typically end, and that is what we are expecting here tonight. It feels a bit like a broken record at this point 5 games in, but the recipe of this series has been simple. If the Celtics hit over 40% of their three point shots, they will likely win. If they don’t, then the door should be open for Miami. The Celtics failed to shoot over 40% in games 1-3 (lost them all), and succeeded in shooting over 40% in games 4 and 5 (won them both). Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and star Jimmy Butler are the ideal individuals you’d want leading the charge in a high pressure game like this. We anticipate a highly competitive game that goes down to the wire. With that said, we will opt to put the 3 points in our back pocket behind the home team. Our wager is one unit.
