Miami @ Florida State 7:00pm
Miami Moneyline (-140)
Florida State basketball had a great run from 2018 to 2021. This program went deep into the NCAA tournament three straight years. Florida State had one of the best teams in the country in 2020 when the tournament was canceled. However, over the last couple years, head coach Leonard Hamilton has not been having the same success. Florida State’s last two teams have ranked outside of the top 100 in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency. To put this into perspective, his teams from 2017-2021 all ranked within the top 50 in both of those metrics. Florida State has looked better over the last week, with two straight road wins (Notre Dame & Pittsburgh). That said, this Miami offense is the real deal! Jim Larranaga’s group ranks 8th in the nation in adjusted offensive efficiency. It would be very surprising to see Florida State able to keep up offensively in this matchup. Our bet is one unit on Miami to win the game.
