Their bullpen ranks bottom 5 in the MLB with a 4.66 ERA. It’s also worth noting that Michael Kopech is a righty, and the Cubs offense has been hot against right handed pitching. Over the last 30 days, the Cubs are hitting .272 with a .781 OPS against righties. Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks had two bad starts against the Yankees and Red Sox prior to the All Star break. Outside of those two starts Kyle Hendricks has pitched very well this season, especially on the road. Hendricks has a 2.53 ERA and 0.84 WHIP away from Wrigley Field. This looks to be a favorable spot to back Hendricks and the Cubs. Our stake is a half unit.
