Braves ML (+115) vs. Dodgers 7:20pm
There are a few things we like about the Braves in this matchup. First, they hit left handed pitching very well. The Braves are top 5 in the MLB in most key hitting metrics against lefties. The Dodgers are starting Julio Urias, a lefty that struggled in May, but has looked better in his 3 starts in June. Speaking of June, the Braves are 9-1 this month at home, where the Dodgers are 5-4 on the road. We will take a flyer on the home dogs behind Ian Anderson and a hot offense. Our bet is one unit on the moneyline.
White Sox ML (-161) vs. Orioles 8:10pm
This bet is all about backing White Sox starting pitcher Michael Kopech at home in Chicago. He has a 1.57 ERA at home, he's only given up 8 hits and 5 earned runs in 28.2 innings pitched. Hopefully this won't jinx him, but he also has not given up a HR yet at home. The Orioles are going with a bullpen game tonight. While the Orioles do have a strong bullpen, we like the White Sox edge offensively and with their starting pitcher. Our bet is one unit on the moneyline.
