Those 2 players (Samori Toure & Austin Allen) accounted for 1,500 of Nebraskas total receiving yards last season. Aside from the blowout last season between these two teams, from 2016-2020 every single matchup was decided by less than 11 points. 4 out of the last 6 matchups between these teams have been decided by one score, and 2 of them went into overtime. This game is being played in Ireland which creates an additional wrinkle here. Nebraska reportedly sold close to 25,000 tickets, so the crowd may favor the Cornhuskers. Regardless, we are going to take a half unit flyer and grab the points with the dogs. Northwestern has a good coach in Pat Fitzgerald, and an experienced offensive line. We will look for Northwestern to slow the game down and keep the score competitive.
