3 Easiest Remaining NBA Schedules
#1) Cleveland Cavaliers

Remaining Games:
8 Total (4 Home, 4 Away)

Current Record:
46-28 (29-8 Home, 17-20)

Current Playoff Seeding:
4 Seed In Eastern Conference
(3.5 GB of 3 Seed)

Remaining Opponents With Winning Record: 3 Total - Nets (1), Hawks (1), Knicks (1)

Remaining Opponents With Losing Record: 5 Total - Rockets (1), Pacers (1), Magic (2), Hornets (1)

Summary: The Cavaliers should have a good opportunity to finish the season strong, and make a push for a higher seed. They have the easiest remaining schedule amongst the 3 teams ahead of them in the Eastern Conference. The Sixers (who hold the 3 seed in front of the Cavs), have the hardest remaining schedule in the NBA. It’s worth noting, the Cavs have been fantastic at home in Cleveland this season. A home court advantage in any series for this team is a big edge!

#2) New York Knicks

Remaining Games:
9 Total (4 Home, 5 Away)

Current Record:
42-31 (20-17 Home, 22-14 Away)

Current Playoff Seeding:
5 Seed In Eastern Conference
(3.5 GB of 4 Seed)

Remaining Opponents With Winning Record: 3 Total - Heat (2), Cavaliers (1)

Remaining Opponents With Losing Record: 6 Total - Magic (1), Rockets (1), Wizards (1), Pacers (2), Pelicans (1)

Summary: One of the biggest storylines this season for the Knicks has been their ability to win games on the road. This metric becomes key around playoff time, especially for teams in the 5 seed or lower. This seeds have to steal a road game in the postseason in order to advance, and the Knicks have proven they are capable of doing that. Their favorable schedule down the stretch should allow them to hold onto the 5 seed. In terms of moving up in seeding, this is unlikely for the Knicks. The Cavs hold the 4th spot in the East, who have the easiest remaining schedule down the stretch. It will be tough to make up 3.5 games with just 9 games remaining.

#3) Memphis Grizzlies

Remaining Games:
11 Total (6 Home, 5 Away)

Current Record:
44-27 (30-5 Home, 14-22 Away)

Current Playoff Seeding:
2 Seed In Western Conference
(3.5 GB of 1 Seed)

Remaining Opponents With Winning Record: 5 Total - Hawks (1), Clippers (2), Bucks (1), Thunder (1)

Remaining Opponents With Losing Record: 6 Total - Rockets (2), Magic (1), Bulls (1), Trail Blazers (1), Pelicans (1)

Summary: With Ja Morant expected to return tonight, things are starting to look up for Memphis. This team had a cloudy couple of months, and suffered a lot of injuries this season. Despite that, they have weathered the storm and remain in a great position. Memphis has been one of the best home teams in the NBA this season. Securing the 2 seed and assuring home court advantage until the conference finals would be a big for this team! Especially considering the roller coaster season. It’s looking like it will be a battle down to the wire between the Grizzlies and Kings for the 2 spot. We like the Grizzlies chances to get it!
